Dental emergencies can never be predicted; however, Eastside Pediatric Dental is always here to help. If your child is experiencing a dental emergency, we will do everything in our power to see you as soon as possible during normal business hours, and there is always a dentist on call after hours.
Here are some quick emergency tips:
- If there is significant trauma to the head or jaw causing loss of consciousness, dizziness, or vomiting immediately contact the emergency medical team
- If a baby tooth is avulsed (lost/knocked out) do not replant it into the area where it was lost, this can cause damage to the developing permanent tooth
- If an adult tooth is avulsed (lost/knocked out), place the tooth in milk or saliva (avoid storing in water) and call for a dental emergency ASAP
